This is my Vark Questionnaire. It shows that I have scored 2 in the Visual category, 9 in the Aural and Read/Write and 8 in the Kinaesthetic. The test shows that I learn more from Aural and reading/writing. I am surprised, as well as had an expectation for the result. I am surprised about the reading and writing score, as I do not find, when carrying out tasks, that I intake as much when looking through books, articles, manuals etc. I also do not read out my notes to myself over and over gain in order to learn the information. With the Aural I had an expectation for it. This is because I feel that I learn more from discussions, listening to other people, tutorials and demonstrations. In order to help enhance my learning style, I can attend all classes, participate in class discussions and discuss topics with others. This way I can improve my ability of learning. My least favourite would have been the read/write, as I would have thought that that is the hardest way for me to intake information. For example, if there was a shelf to be put up, I would prefer a demonstration, as I would remember this more than reading a manual and working from that. |
